A Few Updates

Well, here are a few updates during this busy holiday season...

The week before Christmas, we were able to finalize our "wedding party."  I called my brother Mike and my cousin Brandon, with both accepting.  Done.  Yay.

 Ali went wedding dress shopping last week at David's Bridal.  I think there are a few contenders there.  She plans to go to the bridal boutique in Shakopee and also other places that sell bridal type things of dresses and whatnot. 
 

After work tonight, we have an appointment at the Chanhassen Dinner Theatres to check out their banquet hall facilities for the reception.  They fill our #1 requirement of a reception site - cheap.  So hopefully the rooms look nice.  We'll have to see about this whole dance floor being in a different room business, though.

We have decided to (for the moment, anyway) forgo having a DJ.  So tonight I plan on beginning to assemble a play list... something Ali says we'd do regardless of hiring a DJ or not.  Which I'm not so sure about, but whatev.  Music is fun.

I think we have decided on colors.  Dark red and purple.  Getting rid of the orange mixed in there that we had discussed.
