Happily Married!

The wedding was BEAUTIFUL, and was everything we could have hoped for (and more!)  The hit of the evening was the photo booth; people had so much fun getting in there with different groups, "challenging" each other to photo booth contests, finding creative things to bring in the booth with them....it was great fun.  The scrapbook option that we added was also awesome; guests wrote such fun messages and laid out their pages so creatively!  It will be a keepsake for years to come....

The ceremony was beautiful; the music was awesome, the homily was perfect for us (all couched in terms of music) the flowers  and dresses were bright and fun...everything came together as we had hoped it would!  We can't wait to see our professional pics!

As I've mentioned, the reception was so much fun.....our friends' and family's toasts (and serenade by Nick & Cass) were so beautiful, and the evening was definitely one to remember.

On Sunday, we had the chance to visit with some of our out-of-town guests further over breakfast in the hospitality suite.  We opened gifts, came home, and opened the cards (and bawled....this was when all of the emotions finally came to the surface!)  We were so glad to have it all over with and so successful, but also a little "post-wedding letdown"......fortunately, that dissipated and was gone by the time we got back from Jamaica.

Jamaica was amazing.  More than we had expected, all-around.....we had the time of our lives.  The staff and people of Jamaica were so welcoming, the service was outstanding, the activities were so much fun....there was always something to do (but never anything we felt we HAD to do.....perfect vacation!)

Now, on to married life!  We arrived home to a house full (and I do mean FULL) of post-wedding chaos.   We have spent the last 5 days "digging out" - putting away wedding gifts, getting a start on thank-yous, sorting through the wedding decor and deciding what to keep, store, etc......and we're finally beginning to see the light.  Yeah!!

That's all for now from this old married lady!
