thank you! thank you! thank you!

I hadn't really thought about coordinating my Thank You notes (or about anything past taking the first step) when I sent my Save the Dates, but my dad's wife loved them and suggested I coordinate things all the way through.  I'm going to try-- the pieces will all complement each other even if they don't coordinate-- and so this weekend's task was making (most of) the Thank You stationery.  I still have a follow up batch (I need more adhesive) that I'll work on in the next few weeks.... in the meantime, here is where it started with the Save the Dates:

...which was part of a package that also included hotel information and a bio-style announcement (like you might find in a newspaper):

And here are the finished Thank You notes that are waiting to dry:

...and a closer look at how they will actually appear:

As with the Save the Dates, the paper and cards came from Paper Source, the ribbon is Midori, Prussian Blue, in 5/8 in. thickness, and the stamps came from Mari & Me, an awesome stamp company in Hawaii.  For the Save the Dates, we stamped the taiko drummer on the envelopes (appropriate for an announcement, I thought!):

and for the Thank You notes, I bought the stamp with a couple and "doomo arigato" written in script underneath.  I couldn't resist-- I love these stamps!  You will see many of them in the paper elements we put together, including the programs,

,

placecards,

,

some decorative bookmarks, and the favor tags

(Also, the hotel information and the engagement bio information was done with Neenah Paper cardstock, text weight ivory copy paper, stamps (same source)and raffia.)

Well... at least there is one task off my plate for the weekend!!!
