Stuck...

... I feel at a slightly in-between place in my planning... having just done enough to take a deep breath but a little too busy and tired to start cleaning up and dig into the details.
This week, I ordered more ribbon (for use in invitations), a candy mold, and a large mother of pearl carved ivory flower (to be used as an accent on the ring pillow). I booked the espresso/fruit smoothie vendor for the reception (fun!) And I started taking a good look at the invitations.
To start, I ordered a sale item on pocketfolds, without ever having investigated color, and I picked the iffy color as opposed to the choice I knew was safe... but the size is right and it was being discontinued. Now, I'm debating as to whether I should work to improve the pocketfold piece by covering it with a polyester satin material (and work on making my technique for that a bit better) or whether I should suck it up and ignore the color variance. Here are the views with fabric and with the original color (no fabric)-- what do you think? Does the off color on the paper really bother you or is it me getting to caught up in this wedding sickness?

Also, the mixed CDs will go into OOT baskets but not be wedding favors for the actual wedding (unless I later decide they are a "please take one" extra or something)... I am wrapping the CD paper sleeves with a wrapping paper, and will eventually put a small ivory band with FI's family crest on it to seal it... the sleeves look like this:

In the meantime,... I also ordered the FI a little Valentines' sweet treat and I will be buying him a new pair of jeans as a little extra..
Oh, and my MOH is dropping out (happy news-- she's pregnant and due 3 weeks before the wedding!) so the BM got "promoted" and I will be asking another friend to step in as a BM next week. We'll see what she has to say...
Projects upcoming for the next 30 days:
1. Invitations (start them)
2. Pew decorations (needed: fabric flowers, styrofoam balls, fabric, string, trim glue, maybe more butterflies)
3. Altar table runner (needed: fabric, stitch witchery)
4. Fitting of the completed dress (with accessories!)
5. Discuss the option of a reception dress
6. Get flower girl measurements for dress order
