So, in browsing for various other things, I came across this great website for a Japanese art supply company Yasutomo. What's great about it is the project and ideas section which has lots of ways to use their products. I used one of these to creatively leave a note for my roommate... After putting it together, I realized that I had just found my perfect pew decoration!
I'm going to use this design, with colorful wedding-color coordinated papers (and anchored to a square cardboard base), and in the center, I will attach one of the feather butterflies I purchased to originally use in a bouquet. This is the version using paper for my roommate, but imagine it with different colored navy and hunter green patterned papers:

The other small task of the weekend was stamping the envelopes for my Thank You card stationery.. this means Thank You cards are officially a completed project... and I'll start on really assembling/printing/making invites next week..

And finally, returning to the project website, this Washi eggs project would be great for a paper fanatic (like me) who wants something pretty and subtle to add Easter charm-- I'm thinking about making these next weekend..

how easy! (http://www.yasutomo.com/project/washieggs.htm)
