Finished Rehearsal Dinner Invites...

Posted Friday, April 13, 2007 8:03 AM

Here are the finished rehearsal dinner invites... which I am very pleased with... the details will be filled in later using a white chalk pen.

This red is the same as the cardstock inside, but it photographed badly....

Now for some other fun stuff...

I am putting together a 30th birthday present package for my friend who I will see next weekend:

First, a defiant wonder woman mug...

Then a leopard print headband (not shown)... and for some sassy underwear, I added some patches on to a pair for her (she voted for these patches on my DIY garter poll):

Plus, I'm making a tote bag out of this fun hunky fabric...

Where'd you get your blue envelopes from? How did you address them?

I'm currently working on our wedding invitations and really want a blue envelope. However, I don't want them to be too dark, as I'd love to be able to print on them with black ink.

re: Blue Envelopes

The blue envelopes are pretty dark-- I have a white ink pen (a gelly roll Souffle pen from Sakura) which gives a slightly embossed ink effect that will be used for the outer names on the envelopes.  The envelopes themselves are from Paper Source, but you can also find dark blue envelopes at Envelopemall.com.. try the Genesis envelopes (in blueberry), the Sirio Pearl Metallics (in graphite or Indian night, the Dotted Washi (in blue), Astrobrights (in Celestial Blue), Carnival (in Deep Blue or Blue), Environment (in Blue Moon), Magna Carta (in Brittania blue)...
