In the realm of wedding prep, I have a few shots of the guts of my invitations. Full pics will be posted after the Zazzle custom stamps arrive and I make the final belly bands-- I'll post pics of the set that is sent out first to the bridal party once ready. So in the meantime, this is how the pocketfold looks when opened:

On the right hand side, there are three items tucked into the pocket. The largest (bottom) item is a map insert; the middle item is a dark blue response envelope; and the top is a folded information/RSVP insert with a decorative plate on the front. When opened, the paper folds out to reveal 6 pieces which can be separated by perforation. It looks like this when opened:

Another exciting thing today was the receipt of my bridal shower invitation from my lovely and talented sister:

I can't wait-- they have chosen an interesting location and I can't wait! Afterwards (you'll have to wait a month), I will post pictures from that as well. :) And here is a before and after that shows the view from our kitchen to living room-- part of our DIY project with the new place involved removing a fake fall that divided the living room into a strange space. This shows the difference-- isn't it much better with the extra light and space?
