We're now off and running at putting reception ideas into place... lots of debating regarding music selections as sending a Play/Do Not Play list to the DJ was on my timeline of things to do this week.  We're not that picky, but we did pick out 5 songs for special moments--

Entrance-- Carmina Brauna O Fortuna

First Dance- Queen's Crazy Little Thing Called Love

Father/Daughter Dance- Louis Armstrong- What a Wonderful World

Cake Cutting- Theme from Jaws

Last Song- Forever by Puffy AmiYumi

For the rest, we gave a list of things to get the DJ acquainted with our styles.  As a comparison, my FI's list of 10 artists he'd like to hear a song from during the reception and my 10 are a bit different but not always that different.  Compare:

I thik he has talked me into Carmina Brauna O Fortuna as the reception entrance (as I roll my eyes) but I traded for the exit song, which I've picked as Forever by Puffy AmiYumi.  We agreed it was only fair.
