Out of place: venue visits

Will and I went to view the Citrus Club today. We ended up with mixed feelings: might be good for the rehearsal dinner, but probably not for the wedding or reception. Once we walked in, I felt extremely out of place. Not so for Will(his stepdad is a member of a similar club in Montgomery), but I didn't feel like the Citrus Club said us. It said his side of the family more than it had that both of us feeling. Will said I "had stress on my face" immediately when we walked in, but I've never literally been in a club like that. It's something I'll have to get used to, eventually(especially if we visit the Capital City Club).
Reminded me of those old movies where men sit and smoke cigars and drink brandy. Kind of like those scenes in Leo's "Titanic" when he was invited to do just that with Cal instead of being with Rose.
On a better note, we went back to the Grand Bohemian to see about bringing my mom by tomorrow, since she's visiting. Unfortunately there's a business meeting and a wedding scheduled then(with only an hour break between), so seeing the ballroom is a no-go. The pool might be open, though, so we'll drop by tomorrow to talk to the general manager.
