Photographer problem might be solved!

After that last entry about our photog issues, I think we might be close to solving our problem. And the answer was right under my nose! I've known a family friend for years, who happens to be a professional photographer.

She lives on the west coast of Florida, so we don't physically see each other much since I moved to Orlando, but she took some pics of me and my mom a few years back for a Mother's Day session, and they were amazing! She's done quite a few weddings, too. I talked it over with Will, and he agreed I should contact her, so I sent her an email this weekend.

I was afraid it would be too late to ask, since she has a small family, and sometimes holiday weekends are planned far in advance, not to mention wedding stuff. No fear, though: she got back to me with a sample album of her wedding work, and said she'd gather her pricing info, etc, and email us again. I'm anxious to see what Will thinks of her pictures.

We may have to pay a lodging fee, but I can virtually guarantee it would be less than what Stephen wanted to charge, and her rates may be a bit lower, too. We'll have to see what she offers...I'm crossing my fingers, because I know she'll be professional, and stick with what we choose. I have lots of faith in her and her work, so let's hope everything pans out! Of course we'll consider others who are local(she's just one more option)...but she may be a good one. We'll just have to wait and see.
