I think my parents are going to meet his fam soon...

Well, maybe I should correct that. I think my mom is going to meet Will's parents soon. Between him and me(he and I? I'm a grammar freak sometimes), we thought of Memorial Day weekend.  Everyone has that Monday off, and Will's fam doesn't have anything planned, from what he's heard.

I've been talking to both sets of parents about this for a while(especially since both moms seem excited to meet each other), and Jessica actually suggested that my mom visit Auburn sometime, so I'm glad it'll finally happen. When we brought it up to my mom, she was totally ecstatic, and she's already looking for cheap tickets into Atlanta!  When she didn't find anything cheap, she was all set to give up the idea, until Will said she could drive up with us. (Hmm..we'll have to figure out a good time to leave, 'cause I don't think Mom would like leaving at midnight!  I think we'll just have to bite the bullet and drive during the day.)

 On Will's side, Mama Anne is all for it, too. She might have to attend a conference for work, but in that case, the actual meeting could be short(about a day, which may be good for a first encounter), and then Will and I could show my mom around Auburn. Toomer's, Jordan Hare, Beard Eaves Coliseum, etc etc. (Will and I'll have to convince her to get sushi with us @ Juliana Tokyo---mmmm ).

My dad was less than enthused about meeting Will's side(last time we spoke with each other), but that's okay. He just started getting himself back together after my parents' divorce, so who knows what he's really feeling. He can meet Mama Anne & Papa Bear further down the road, or even at the wedding. At least Mom is happy about this(then again, she's the parent I've always been closest to, and we share a lot). Yay!!
