Getting Started

After my best friend Brooke got engaged and I was going around looking at Churches with her, I finally got motivated to start planning my own wedding! It seemed so far away that I didn't see the point to getting started now, but I am extremely glad that I started when I did.  With still a year and a few months to go I began to get serious about the reception site and Church.  The weekend I wanted at the reception site had already booked one room and I had to get the other right away or it would have been gone as well.  I did not realize how fast reception sites book!  So, I have the reception site and the Church.  That is all I have.  I plan on starting to look at bridemaids dresses this early summer and then for a wedding dress for myself the middle to end of summer!  I have to get some sun before I go try on some white dresses.  I can't wait though.  I think I am going to do the colors of pinks (regular and light) and accent with some chocolate browns.  I originally just wanted whites and ivories, but I didn't know what color to do the bridesmaids dresses in then.  We'll see, I am sure I will change my mind some more.
