Two hundred ninety- two days seems like a long time; almost a year actually. So why do I feel like I'm falling behind in my wedding planning? Isn't "almost a year" enough time to do practically anything in this day and age? Is it because I've been engaged since April 5th? Maybe it's because all of a sudden everyone is inquiring about the ceremony location, the reception venue, what colors I've chosen, who I've chosen as my bridal party, where we're going for our honeymoon....and yet I don't have a definite answer to any of these questions. But I do have a definite vision. And I won't choose a ceremony location, reception venue, colors, or honeymoon destination unless they all fit snugly into my vision. I don't mind a concession here and there, but I won't compromise on the things that will still matter to me on my 50th wedding anniversary.
