Easing the aging process

Last weekend was my birthday.  My hub knows how I feel about birthdays and he's always been amazing on my day; this year was no exception.

I slept-in the morning of my birthday because we stayed out way past our bed time the night before.  So around 10am hubby comes into the bedroom with a breakfast tray with coffee and strawberry crepes for my bkfast!! He even included my favorite flower in a vase on the tray- very movie-esque! It was the best start to my day! The rest of the day was just as awesome-hubby had the romantic bug big time!

Before we left our house for dinner he called me downstairs where he had prepared an area with sunflowers and candles- I felt like I was being proposed to all over again! He turned on our wedding song and asked if he could dance w/me!! My whole body went as limber as a wet noodle and the tears fell like a running faucet.. I melted!!  He gave me my birthday present after we finished our dance, which also made me cry like a baby; it was my grandmother's wedding ring all shiny and beautiful and inside he engraved our intitals right next to my grandparent's initials.  I swear I could not stop crying the entire time we danced and even on the drive to the restaurant... my father-in-law, who met us for dinner, was kidding me for it too. :)

Every birthday I have had since I met my husband has been the best and most romantic...I truly could not ask for more in a man.  I know now why my heart waited so long to surrender completely to anyone...she was waiting for my husband.

Very sweet.  I go all out for birthdays...my husband, not so much.  I would love to borrow your husband, just for my birthdays.  Can we strike a deal?  I'll give you my husband whenever you need any electrical work, rebuilding, or part repairs done.

I like that deal haha! Except I think I might get too jealous if my husband used his romantic ideas on another woman!!! :)

True, my trade isn't totally fair.  One is manual labor and one is romance.  Okay, I'll also throw in my mom who is a nurse so she knows and can heal everything, and she gives killer ankle massages!
