Chicken, Beef, or Children?!?!

I am having an RSVP card dilemma. On the RSVP card, I'd like for my guests to indicate their choice of entree, so that I can put it on their place card and make it easier for the waiters at our venue.  Sounds fine, right? Well, our venue also offers children's entrees of Mac & Cheese and Chicken Nuggets, and I need to know how many children's entrees my guests need. My question is: how should I word this on the RSVP card, without people thinking they can just bring their children (even though their names won't be on the invite?) The only children that are coming are those of close friends in the wedding and family.

So, here was my attempt at trying to get all of this information onto my RSVP card:

My fabulous graphic designer and I had a good laugh at this one- it looks like I will be serving children as a main course......I'm glad she will just do as I want and then let me see how it turns out, rather than telling me it won't work (hey, I'm stubborn, I need to see it for myself!) Obviously, my "vision" needs some major "re-vision"!

So, any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.  I've heard many a horror story about guests adding people to their RSVP cards, and the last thing I want at my wedding is a bunch of un-invited children running around!

 Happy Weekend everyone!

re: Chicken, Beef, or Children?!?!

Could you add a separate card for those that you invited with their children?  Or maybe just call them, if there aren't many?

re: Chicken, Beef, or Children?!?!

The separate cards/calling seems like it would be the best option.  Another thing to consider...if you're going to have your guests' entree choice on their place cards, how will you figure out which person wants which entree with this layout?  Also, what if there were, for instance, 3 people being invited (an older child who wouldn't want a kid's menu) and 2 people wanted chicken & 1 wanted fish...would they write how many of each entree in the circle next to the entree pic?

Just some thoughts...  I really like the design though!  I've not started the whole invitation thing yet.

That's one of the dilemmas....I think I am going to change it to have lines to write names next to each symbol? I don't know- so frustrating! Thanks girls!
