The Venue

I think that we may have found a venue for sure.  I had my heart set on a place that is local and absolutely gorgeous for outdoor weddings (not to mention WAY under our budget).  But after learning that the venue does not have a place indoors in case of rain, I started looking at other venues that aren't too far away.  I found one that is about 30 minutes from where we live (which is the same area that most of our guests are from) and it is so beautiful.  We will be able to have the ceremony outdoors (which is what I want) and the reception indoors (which is what he wants).  And, if it is rainy, we are able to move the ceremony indoors.  The place is decorated beautifully and their package, which is in our budget, is all inclusive EXCEPT for any additional flowers (like the bouquets, bouts. etc) and the photographer.  EVERYTHING else is included.  The photos look absolutely gorgeous and we are going to go look at it in person when my fiance is home for Christmas vacation (he is out of town working right now).

Absolutely!  The name of the venue is Centurion Palace.  I personally think it is beautiful.  Here is the link to their website: http://www.centurionpalace.com/

The package that we were quoted for April of 2011 was $8,450 for 100 guests.  This includes EVERYTHING except for the photography.  Even the alcohol (open bar) is included!  Which I was shocked!!  With taxes (no gratuity is added) the total that we will be paying is $8,980.  I am so excited :)
