after wedding party inviting?

My fiance and i are having an afternoon wedding with a Hors Deouvers reception.  Because our reception is in a church hall no alcohol is permitted. This is good because it eliminates problems for us with separate family beliefs on drinking.  However want to celebrate with our friends at a bar/restaurant in the evening. But we are on a tight budget  How do we go about inviting people without them thinking we are paying. Or is this really rude??
