We went for an ultrasound and drs appt on Tuesday -- we are in indeed preggars and were able to see the tiny mite on an ultrasound as well as hear the heartbeat which i think is a good sign. i am now 7 weeks pregnant and anxiously looking forward to hitting 10 weeks and then 12! That will make me feel more confident. After our previous loss i am just really hesitant to get too excited but i don't want to short change this baby and myself of being excited either so i'm trying to balance my emotions, etc. regarding that! :) i think we'll tell our parents at 10 weeks - JD is going on a trip with his fam to celebrate Adam's graduation from Embassy Training so i think we'll send a pic of Ruby along with a "Big Sister to Be" t-shirt to announce it to them all at once. My parents and brother will have to wait for snail mail. With Betsy and Jake right here it was too hard to keep a secret -- especially because i will need their support should we have problems again and it will make it easier if they know. My big plan is to take Ruby for a santa picture with her new shirt on...hopefully that will work out. i don't really want to tell her until Christmas -- because i know i wouldn't be able to handle explaining that we had lost a baby. Should be a fun surprise to tell her Santa left a baby in my tummy so she can be sister...maybe that will screw with her mind when she's older though....oh well we have about 4 weeks yet to figure it out. i can't believe that November is almost over and the holiday excitement will be beginning soon....CRAZY!!! i think it will be fun to announce it to everyone for christmas though!
