20 Days

I feel like I am incredibly lucky that Justin decided that he didn't want to wait until the spring of 2009 to get married.  I was a bit nervous about planning a wedding in the same amount of time it takes for a baby to develop and be born, but now I am so happy that we did.

No, I am not pregnant.  But when we first got engaged, I read all these books about how it takes the better part of a year to plan a wedding, and that sites can be booked years in advance.  Lucky for us, the Wayside Inn happened to be free on Labor Day weekend.

Anyway, there are 20 days left & I am getting so excited!  It's killing me to wait the 20 more days, I couldn't imagine having to wait any longer than that - like we would have if we had done the Spring 2009 thing.

Right now 5 big tasks await us:

Wedding Music - we just need to burn a few cd's of stuff we want to use for our fantabulous DJ.

Seating Chart - we need to figure out who is going to sit whom

Favors / Placecards - have all the stuff, just need to make them up

Programs - again, have the materials, just need to type up and print

Readings - have already asked our friends to do them, just looking for the right one to strike us

I was freaking out a week ago about us not having picked our song yet, but we have & all is well.  Now we just need to figure out what I am going to dance with my dad to, and what Justin and his mom are going to dance to.

Other than that, I like to think we are doing very well.

Went to the Wayside on Friday & walked through the garden.  SO hoping for nice weather so we can have our cocktail hour outside.

 Big Smile
