I am FINALLY starting to feel like I'm accomplishing things!
With the help of another knottie and FI, we have painted all 45 of the frames we're using for our table numbers. I even created the numbers in photoshop last night so I can print them on vellum and assemble the numbers.
I just ordered the stamps for our RSVP envelopes so I can continue assembling our invites. The picture doesn't really go with our theme, but neither does anything else the US Postal Service has to offer. So instead we got something red... very red! And I really like it!
These are the Chinese New Year, Year of the Rat stamps from USPS. I'm not crazy about the rat on the stamp, but I doubt anyone will really notice anyway. It appeases me that they'll actually match the color of our envelopes and look pretty. Now I just need to decide if I want to use those on the invites too, or do the other option I've got in mind.
The last accomplishment, I've just about got our DIY cardbox finished. FI have been watching Season 1 of Lost on DVD tonight and I've been working on the boxes. We're not doing anything difficult, just cutting holes in paper mache boxes and stacking them together to create a a cardbox that looks like a stack of presents.
Well my break is done, back to wrapping up those boxes and finishing up for the night!
