Drum Roll Please...

My dress is IN!!!! Woo hoo!

Finally after 7 months! Apparently they called me on Valentine's day.... I saw the missed call... they didn't leave a message.  I googled the number on my caller ID and saw it to be the alterations portion of the bridal shops business, so I called a bit later. I was waiting for some material to come in, so I asked about that when I called, assuming they'd inform me of everything that was in. Guess I was wrong.

I stopped by the store on Sunday to pick up the material and low and behold my dress is there also! The lady says to me "there's a note on here saying we called on Valentine's Day." Ahhh yes ma'am, but I don't have ESP and can't tell why someone called me when they don't leave a message. What I really told her was that I saw the missed call and happened to call her later that day asking about the material but no one mentioned anything about my dress. She then gave me some BS about getting in big shipments or whatever.

Anyway, my dress was in! Yay! Did I mention Anthony was with me at the store too? Uhhh yeah, that makes it kinda hard to try on the dress with out making him wait forever. So I never got to try on my dress until we got home (after we ran all our errands) and then I had to do it myself, so it was very difficult and I had no mirror to look in either. Sad I did the best I could considering it's a corset back, but I can't wait to try on my dress (for reals!) with someone's help and get an honest feel for how it fits! So far it seems just fine though. Yay! My dress is in!

re: Drum Roll Please...

The dress being in and in your hands makes the whole wedding thing a total reality doesn't it.

I am dreaming of the day my dress comes in!
