Traveling By Train

Posted Thursday, May 31, 2007 1:51 PM

The longest train trip I've taken lasted six hours (from Prague to Berlin, and a lot of the trip was along the Rhine river so the landscape was amazing to see), but I've never been on an overnight train ride. The Orient-Express recently announced a new route from Venice to Vienna, Krakow, Warsaw and Prague. The trip takes 8 days and 7 nights -- it seems like it'd be a cool way to see both cities and countryside, but I can't imagine what it would be like to ride a train on such a long trip. What do you think?
