I recently got a look at a travel guide called LUXE New York, the newest destination from LUXE City Guides. I really like the way LUXE guides are set up -- rather than flip through pages like a book, they unfold into one long sheet that's packed full of useful info. They're also small (about 6” by 3”) and light, so they're easy to carry around. It's a little surprising at first to open the LUXE New York guide because there aren't any pictures inside, but start reading through and you realize that the layout makes a lot of sense. There are recommendations for activities, bars, weekend brunch spots, and accommodations, as well as walking tours and shopping itineraries organized by neighborhood.
