If its prime location (right at the top of the Spanish Steps) and recent tabloid buzz (Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes stayed there during their Italian destination wedding) aren't reason enough to visit The Hotel Hassler in Rome, they've recently renovated the hotel's restaurant for the first time since it opened 50 years ago. The Imàgo rooftop restaurant has a sweeping view over the city, and the cuisine aims to match the new, elegant aesthetic -- Chef Francesco Apreda varies his menu by season and always incorporates traditional Italian flavors and ingredients. Imàgo is open seven days a week for lunch from 12:30 to 2:30, and for dinner from 7:30 to 10:30. For reservations call 39 06 699 34 726, or visit HotelHasslerRoma.com for more info.
If you're interested in staying at The Hotel Hassler when in Rome, they're offering a few discount packages: Book before October 15, and stay for more than two nights between October 28 and December 27, and you'll get your room 35% off. At that rate, you can get a double for about $440 a night. Click here for more details.
