New Resort in Fort Lauderdale, FL

St. Regis Hotels recently opened their first new resort on the east coast since 1906, in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Each of the 166 guest rooms has classy amenities (flat screen TVs, bamboo silk bathrobes, 24-hour butler service), and one cool feature is that the rooms start on the 7th floor, so they all have a view. There's a spa with 10 treatment rooms (including one couples' room), a pool overlooking the ocean, and a wine bar with a 5,000 bottle collection. The resort is just 6 1/2 miles from the Fort Lauderdale Airport (they'll pick you up in a Bentley, if you'd like), and rooms start at $500 per night. Click here for more details.
