The Hotel Palazzo Barbarigo Sul Canal Grande is in a building from the 16th century that's been refurbished into 18 distinct guest rooms, right on the Grand Canal. The hotel is designed with an Art Deco-style decor, with the intention of giving each room the feel of an art gallery. Another cool detail: The hotel has its own landing dock on the Grand Canal for easy gondola access.
