Private villas seem to be springing up in all of the most popular honeymoon destinations, and Hotel del Coronado recently followed suit by opening 35 new villas. While the resort itself is steeped in history (it's been around since 1888, and Marilyn Monroe filmed Some Like It Hot there), the new Beach Village cottages are dedicated to a private, luxurious stay. Each two- and three-bedroom villa includes a balcony with views of the ocean, private beach access, Bose surround sound systems, and extra large bath tubs.
