Well my fiance and I have been engaged since March, and I've been a Knot follower ever since. Only recently did I start reading and posting on discussion boards, etc. I'm actually going to post this and move on to redoing our website since it really needs some updating!
I guess I can introduce myself first...
I'm Katie and I'm 21, but I act like I'm about thirty or so. I work full time as well as attend school full time--I'm studying to be an elementary teacher. I've lived in the same small town since my eleventh birthday, so it's definitely home to me. I met my fiance, Josh, here my freshman year of high school. He was a junior at the time. We were both in the marching/concert band and I immediately noticed him. I had a crush on him all through high school, but never acted on it. It wasn't until after I graduated and ended a very brief relationship that we became friends on MySpace and started talking on Yahoo! Chat. And now here we are almost three years later :)
I absolutely LOVE this website and all of the amazing things it has to offer. I've literally planned nearly every detail for the wedding on my own, and a lot of the ideas I've gotten were from other weddings featured here. I got my dress the first week after Josh proposed and the bridesmaid dresses the following week! Our wedding is on January 23 of next year and with only six months to go, it's stressful! But I'm so excited :)
