Engagement Photo Session

It's been set for January 12th!  I almost feel like we're doing this so late in the game; I hear about bride-to-bes getting this done as soon as they book a photographer.  However, since we aren't doing save-the-dates, it wasn't a big rush to get them done.  Plus I was in the middle of dealing with grad school apps (I'm *this close* to being done).

We are taking our photos at the Pasadena City Hall, located in Old Town.  If you don't know where that is, it's really close to the new(ish) Paseo Colorado.  Actually neither of us knew where it was...we kind of found it as we were driving around trying to find parking to get to the mall (Paseo Colorado).  The building is so pretty, but the most impressive parts of this building are the hallways, the arches....little details about the building.  Ok so yes, the entire building is great.  There's also a big fountain in a garden area.

I'm excited to be working with our photographers soon for the first time.  I wonder what I'll wear??  Because I have scheduled a hair trial that morning, I don't think I'll wear anything too casual.  I shouldn't wear anything too elaborate or with a loud pattern either.  Jeans and a fancy top?  Solid color dress?  If I need to get some shopping done, I should probably do that soon!
