Wedding Dress Bought!!

I bought my wedding dress yesterday! It was orignially a $1,000 dress and I got it for $425!! I got it at David's Bridal. When I found it in September it was still like $700 so I got a great idea! I love it and so does everyone else! I can't wait to share it with everyone on my wedding day! It's so hard not showing it to my future husband because we share everything, but I think it's worth the wait. I am so glad this part is over and things are really feeling real now. As I keep getting things done, the reality that I am getting married really sets in. I can't wait to marry my best friend.

We had our engagement photos taken today. I was really nervous about what we were wearing, weather, and of course how I looked. Diana was very easy going and did a great job making us feel comfortable. She is going to post a few on her blog later today. I can't wait to see them.

Engagement Pictures this weekend!

This weekend are our engagement photos. I am super excited. We got our haircuts and now trying to pick out what we are going to wear. I am just hoping the weather is decent because we want some outdoor photos. I am going to post on the community boards to see what others wore and how they fought the cold weather for outdoor photos. We are going to have these forever, I want them to turn out good.

My mom knows a photographer who works with her is reasonably priced. I looked at her website and her work seems to be pretty good. I am only concerned with having only one photographer for my wedding ceremony and reception. I like the idea of having two so I can have different angles and if the shot is blocked by one, you can always have the other one. We are going to schedule our engagement pictures with her and see how it goes. She is very budget friendly, so I am sure we will book her for the wedding as well. I just want to get my engagement photos taken! My fiance is dragging his feet by not picking a weekend that works for him! I have already started scrapbooking our engagement and bridal party. Can't wait to do more!!

Save the Date

Finally, we set our wedding date today! I couldn't be more excited! I have waited 9 years and now with the date set I feel great! Now, I won't spend my days at work stressing and researching to find my location! The last few weeks, I haven't been a very good worker! The next thing I want to do is set up engagement pictures and of course start doing some dress shopping!!
