Enjoy three different wedding themes in one night! The Wedding Experience is an event showcasing three venues with completely different styles so brides can choose the ambience that suits their style.
On Friday, November 12, 2010 from 6:30–10 p.m., engaged couples will travel between The Columbus, A Renaissance Hotel, BoMa, and Station 67. At each location, couples will get to sample gourmet food, signature drinks, listen to a band and DJ’s, taste cake, and more. Photographers and videographers will be on site as well to capture all of the fun and excitement. Transportation will be provided for couples.
Engaged couples will have the opportunity to interact with hair stylists, make-up artists, florists, dance instructors, cake decorators, and many others to discuss their wedding. Prizes will be given away on site at each location and all couples will be eligible for Grand Prizes given out online after the event. Price in advance is $25 per couple.

A walk down the aisle may not exactly be a walk around the park. Fortunately for Columbus’ most sophisticated brides, wedding bliss may be found in the few short blocks of High Street.
On Sunday, October 10th from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., attend the Short North Wedding Walk, a biannual event showcasing Columbus wedding specialists and vendors.
Enjoy refreshments as you garner wedding inspirations and trends to incorporate your own special day. Featured vendors include Big Rock Little Rooster, On Paper stationery, Collier West home décor, Rose Bredl flowers, Bakery Gingham cupcakes and cakes, Marcella's and Max the Salon (A Charles Penzone Salon), and wedding expertise from event design expert Kasey Skobel-Conyers of Bliss Wedding and Event Design and illustrative photographer Amy Carruthers of C Studios.

We love when helping others and weddings come together. And now Ohio brides can get involved!
Wish Upon A Wedding, the world’s first nonprofit wish granting organization providing weddings and vow renewals for couples facing terminal illness and serious life-altering circumstances regardless of sexual orientation, is launching in Ohio September 15th. The official launch party will take place at Bar Louie in the Arena District in Columbus, OH from 5:30 to 7:30.
Anyone interested in learning more about the organization and how they can help is invited, however, guests must RSVP here.
Two other meet-and-greets will also take place in Cincinnati and Cleveland. The Cincinnati Meet and Greet will take place on September 21 at Bar Louie on the Levee in Newport, KY from 5:30 to 7:30. European Bridal in Cincinnati is giving away 20 free wedding gowns to brides who are engaged, on active duty, or will have been deployed or will be deployed to Iraq or Afghanistan, or who have a fiancé on active duty in Iraq or Afghanistan.
The event is part of Brides Across America, a non-profit organization uniting military brides and bridal salons to support troops and families. Brides who qualify should visit European Bridal between 3 p.m. and 6 p.m. on July 13th (appointments are recommended; call (513) 821-6505 to schedule yours).
