Tiffany and Brian

After I went to bed, Brian stayed up cutting out pieces of paper and numbering them 1 through 50. On each piece, he wrote a message:

1.) I love how the simple things make you happy.
2.) I love how, after all the days we've been together, I look forward to the next day I spend with you.
3.) I love how you take the time to take care of me, even when I should be doing things for myself.
4.) I love it when you get excited over girly things, even if I act like you're crazy. It's just the most adorable thing!
5.) I love how even when you¹re mad at me, I still think you're beautiful.

...and all the way to 50. The last note said, "I love everything about you in ways 50 little slips of paper could never express."

He folded the pieces of paper and placed them across the table before he went to work. When I woke up the next morning, I found the notes and read each one of them.

Later when he got home, I was cooking dinner. He walked into the kitchen and told me that he still had one thing he couldn't figure out how to say on paper. He said that he realized after writing the notes that he could¹ve done 50 more and probably another 50 after that. He told me that he couldn't imagine life without me in it, and then he pulled out a little box. He opened the box and there was a ring inside. That was when he asked me if I would be his wife.
