Megan and Michael

This was such a fairy-tale proposal! On New Year’s Eve, my guy set up a scavenger hunt and I had to drive around to locations that represented significant moments in our relationship. I went to the place we had our first all-night conversation; the spot we had our first date; my grandmother’s house, where he asked her permission; his family’s house, where I accidentally ran over their mailbox (which was where my next clue was); then to a long boardwalk where our relationship first took a steamy turn. As I was hunting down my clue at the boardwalk, the cops found the car and they harassed my soon-to-be fiance for a while before letting us go ("because he is so romantic, and proves chivalry is not dead!"). The last stop on my travels was the park where we had our first kiss. I finally found the clue, and it said, “Will you marry me?” I started to cry and, as I turned to him, he got down on his knee and popped the question! Twenty minutes later, we were with our friends (who knew all along!), toasting not only the New Year, but our engagement!
