So... date drama. FI is hesitating on even setting a date, and I am eager to get SOMETHING done.  I can understand where he's coming from.. we're not settled and he still doesn't have a job.  But come on!  Give me something to look forward to!  :(

 We were laying in bed the other night discussing it.  I am careful not to discuss any of my ideas too much, just because its not the right time.  However, this is something that I feel is not really all that stressful... I mean, its just the date.  It doesn't cost anything to set, and it gives me a better idea of how to save our money.  ANYWAY...

So I think I have the perfect date.  I want a fall wedding, and initially was thinking Novemeber.  However, I've been reading a lot about how to save money, and a Sunday wedding sounds fine to me, especially if it is a Monday holiday weekend.  PERFECT!  Save money and people still have the next day to get home and recover.

Columbus day in 2010 is an October Monday holiday.  PERFECT!  NO - WRONG!  Its 10/10/10.  :(  I'd have to be booking things now to get a decent price/selection, and we just can't do that.
