Drop Dead Diva Wedding Games at The Grove!

With a wedding in the works for Jane in the fourth season finale of Drop Dead Diva, we're teaming up with the show for the “Drop Dead Diva: Official Games” at the Grove -- and you're invited to take part in the competition!

Challenges include tossing a bouquet, dressing a mannequin in formalwear and packing a honeymoon suitcase -- all while wearing a veil, gloves and, of course, a bridal gown. The winning diva gets a trip to Las Vegas with three best friends.

You don’t have to register to join in on the fun – just be sure to arrive between 11am and 4pm on Friday, August 10th or Saturday, August 11th and sign up. Fans who arrive between 11pm and 2pm on Friday will also get a chance to meet the show’s stars!

And don’t forget to catch the show on Lifetime every Sunday at 9/8c (and the season finale on Sept. 9!).

If you haven't had the chance to experience one of Elan Artists many talented acts, you're in for a treat this Wednesday. From classical musicians to dance bands and DJs, Elan Artists represents talented performers (not to mention photographers and videographers) nationwide.

Corona del Mar-based wedding planner Barbara Wallace stopped by Bloomingdale's in Fashion Island a couple of weeks ago to speak about the importance of creating a wedding registry and to sign some fresh copies of her new book, Beautiful Bride from Every Angle, which she co-wrote with two other wedding pros--stylist Annie Withers and photographer Lars Wanberg.

Shout out to the totally gorgeous Parker Palm Springs hotel (TheParkerPalmSprings.com), where The Knot is doing a fashion and cover photo shoot today. We can’t wait to see how everything turned out when our team gets home! For now, we'll have to do with this iPhone photo from our art director, Julie.

In honor of the fabulous location, I've posted a couple of photos from Sami and Michael’s wedding there. Notice how the hotel's architecture inspired their invitation design?
