Knot Name: Chrissy3321
Wedding Date: May 29, 2009
Knot Annie: Tell me about the Knotties on your board that you post on.
Chrissy3321: I’m mostly on two boards. May 2009: This is a melting pot of women from all over the country. We’re like a big family. Sometimes we get along and sometimes we don’t. Indiana: This board is a bunch of good-hearted Midwestern ladies. They’ve been so much help to me with referrals, ideas, etc.
KA: Describe your wedding.
Chrissy3321: Modern, simple, fun.
KA: How have the Knotties on your board helped you plan?
Chrissy3321: I would’ve been lost without The Knot and the Knotties on my boards. Let’s say my mom doesn’t have a green thumb for wedding planning, so I’ve been on The Knot since step one of the planning process. The most help I’ve gotten is with DIY projects. I’m not crafty at all, but the Knotties helped me with great bios that included step-by-step instructions.
KA: Favorite bio on The Knot and why?
Chrissy3321: LovemyPEGuy -- without her step-by-step pomander instructions, I’d still just have a big box of silk carnations.
KA: Best vendor that you’ve worked with and why?
Chrissy3321: My photographer, Amanda Wilcher. She’s one of the first vendors we contracted. Her personality is more than you could ever ask for in a photographer. She has a great way of making you calm and getting people to break out of their shell and have fun.
KA: What will make your wedding stand out to your guests, and where did you find the inspiration?
Chrissy3321: I think the pomanders we’re using for the ceremony and reception will stand out. My inspiration was from LovemyPEGuy, but we put our own twist on them by adding little lights within the flowers! I can’t wait to see them lining the reception and adding a pink pop to places like the dance floor.
KA: What are you looking forward to most on your wedding day?
Chrissy3321: Walking down the aisle. Sean and I have been to 12 weddings in the last year, and one thing I’ve noticed is the expression on a bride’s face when she walks down the aisle. It’s like none other. I can’t wait to experience the feeling that goes with that smile!
Thank you Chrissy3321! Happy Wedding this month!
