Knot Annie: What’s your board like and have you ever joined the Knotties for a GTG?
soontobemrsdavis: I’ve met a couple Knotties at unofficial GTGs. I have a Knottie gym buddy that I actually met at a bridal show. The NNJ Knotties were a part of a Christmas donation program called Adopt a Family, and I got to meet another Knottie when I dropped off my donation. I had the pleasure of meeting four Knotties in February at a mini GTG, and it was really cool. I look forward to meeting more from my local board and also from the AAW board!
KA: Describe your wedding.
soontobemrsdavis: I like to consider my wedding as elegant, simple, and classy. I’m trying not to overdue anything, and I want to make sure that everyone walks into the venue saying, "WOW!!" and leaves the venue saying, "That was one of the best weddings I’ve ever been to."
KA: How have the Knotties on your board helped you plan?
soontobemrsdavis: OMG, how have they not helped me plan! A lot of my vendors are based on recs that I’ve received from Knotties. They’re a wealth of knowledge, giving great advice. Being able to just talk about stuff with the Knotties that no one else would want to hear is amazing too!
KA: Favorite bio on The Knot and why?
soontobemrsdavis: I look at all of them all of the time. Literally.
KA: Best vendor that you’ve worked with and why?
soontobemrsdavis: So far, my vendors have been great! I would have to say our photographer has been the coolest so far. We dig his style a lot.
KA: What’s something that makes your wedding unique for your guests, and where did you find the inspiration?
soontobemrsdavis: We plan on including our guests in our sand ceremony. We’re going to give everyone some sand so they can put it in our shadow box sand picture frame. I think this is very unique. I got the idea for the picture frame from Knottie chariseraynee and I thought about including the guests all on my own!
KA: What are you looking forward to most on your wedding day?
soontobemrsdavis: I’m looking forward to sharing this day with all of our friends and family. They’re so happy for us and wish nothing but the best for us. I just look forward to being around all of that support and love.
