Knot Annie: Tell me about the Knotties on your board that you post on. Have you ever joined them for a GTG?
BellaSposa223: The Knotties on the Hudson Valley board are really great. The board wasn’t very active for a while and now we’re getting back on track. I’ve been to a G2G with the girls and it was sooooo much fun. It’s great to put the names and personalities with the faces.
KA: Describe your wedding:
BellaSposa223: My wedding has been in the making for a long time. We’ve been engaged for two years and two months. I’m going for an elegant wedding that’s classy without the cost of a platinum wedding. My venue does a lot of the elegance part and I’ve worked very hard on a budget to make the classiness happen with every little accessory for the day. There is a lot of DIY mixed with great deals from various websites.
KA: How have the Knotties on your board helped you plan?
BellaSposa223: The Knotties on the Hudson Valley board are heaven-sent. They helped with many vendors, and anytime I’ve needed advice, I just had to ask and the answers were there. I’ve learned from many of the past brides on the board as well as the new ones.
KA: Favorite bio on The Knot and why?

KA: Best vendor that you’ve worked with and why?
BellaSposa223: Picking one vendor just wouldn’t be fair. I have a few favorites: my photographer and florist. My photographer, Jacob Bergmeier. I was totally stuck on photography for a while and Jake put me at ease with my budget, and has worked with me immensely. On top of that, my engagement pictures by him have come out incredibly well! I cannot wait to work with him on the big day! And my florist, Carl at Bed of Roses, has worked to get my dream flowers at a price that is really affordable!
KA: What will make your wedding stand out to your guest and where did you find the inspiration?
BellaSposa223: I truly believe that everything I’ve worked so hard at will come out in all of the little details, and the venue itself is very impressive. The inspiration has come from TheKnot.com galleries and Knottie bios, and I’ve made them my own by adding my personal ideas and touches.
KA: What are you looking forward to most on your wedding day?
BellaSposa223: I am so excited to see my two-and-a-half years of planning come together and be what I’ve envisioned all this time. Oh, and of course being able to finally tie the knot with John ;)
