Knot Annie: Tell me about the Knotties on your board that you post on. Have you ever joined them for a GTG?

aprillm730: I post on the October 2010 board and the Detroit board.  The October 2010 board is by far the most incredibly supportive and friendly board.  It is a very busy board, but our moderator keeps it really organized and it's always fun.  The Detroit board has been invaluable to me; they have helped me in choosing almost all of my vendors.  There's no way I would have been able to really enjoy the wedding planning process as much as I have without them.
 
I attended one GTG with girls that were both Detroit and October 2010 -- we met at a knottie’s home and had a BBQ. It was awesome!

KA: Describe your wedding.  

aprillm730: We are getting married on October 22, 2010. My wedding is a traditional church wedding with a catholic mass ceremony in Detroit, Michigan.  I am getting married in the church that my parents were married in.  Our colors are gold and purple with some fall themed touches.
 
KA: How have the Knotties on your board helped you plan?  

aprillm730: There is no way to describe the amount of help that the girls on the Detroit board and on the October 2010 have helped me and my wedding.  They always have the best ideas and recommendations.

KA: Favorite bio on the knot and why?

aprillm730: wallace101610 is one of my favorites for sure. I love all of her ideas, and her colors are so fun! She has very unique ideas that I want to steal all of the time!

KA: What will make your wedding stand out to your guests, and where did you find the inspiration?

aprillm730: I think that our wedding will stand out to our guests because we have really tried to make everything personal to us. At the time of the wedding, we will have been engaged over 2 years and the entire time we have been gathering ideas and planning.  I really hope that people see all of the hard work that I've put into this day.

KA: What are you looking forward to most on your wedding day?

aprillm730: Other than marrying the most incredible man I have ever known, I'm looking forward to celebrating with family and friends! Oh, and the photo booth!
