I Have A Church! (Update)

Actually I have TWO churches.

Since I had been having trouble booking our church of choice, I went to Plan B. I called up the number two pick - the first church my Honey had attended with me.  It also happens to be the church my father attended for many years as a young lad and so it has a family connection, too.  But instead of just discussing my options, the priest there went ahead and booked us.

I then called up St. Coleman's to find out what was going on there (since our last conversation left me in suspense) and they booked me, too.  It is like we were speaking for he very first time (and not the third) and there was no indication at all their was he was concerned the church would be closed.

The Sr. Pastor there doesn't seem to have a very good memory and it doesn't leave me with a lot of confidence that he REALLY has me scheduled (and I'd be $100 dollars he doesn't remember that we were using an outside Priest).  So - just for now - I'm keeping both churches.  Just until I have something in writing or proof of some kind that I am reasonably guaranteed St. Coleman's and that someone knows what's going on.  

But the bottom line is that I at least have a church to marry us in (if not two). That was my first hurdle.  Now I really need to close on a reception hall!
