The Best Is Yet To Come

Got a taste of the reception - neighborhood bar style.

An entertainment act that we're interested in played at a local pub last night, and I was fortunate enough to duck out of work early so my Honey & I could see them live and in action.

Since my darling is well versed in swing-dancing, it seemed natural that she'd want some big band era music for the reception. I know she wants an energetic dance or two, & I'm the kinda guy who dances by holding my girl close &  rocking back and forth (which she'd do anyway). The act in question is 2 guys singing with a mixer & soundboard and a whole lot of Rat Pack music - which fits, as they are called 'Frank & Dean' (and for a little extra - you can hire Sammy too).

We walked into "The Best is Yet to Come" and instantly Honey started bopping to the music as we found a table. Expecting us, "Frankie" approached while "Dean" was doing a solo. We chatted between sets and later during their act they drew the crowd's attention to us and our pending nuptials. After that, people would come up to us and congratulate us and we were encouraged to dance - all in all a taste of what is to come.

Now that I think of it - I'm sure they did it so we would hire them...
