Going Back to the Beginning

Today me and my Honey are making the 8 hour drive back to the great city of NY - the place where "we" began almost 2 years ago.  It will also be my first visit back since moving to Cleveland.

Back to Madison park where we would spend hours talking, entertaining ourselves with nothing more than blowing bubbles and conversation, while passerby would see us and grin. Or their dogs would chase and eat the bubbles.

Back to Asia de Cuba and the way her eyes lit up the first time she tasted pan seared Ahi Tuna, or the way the candlelight danced in her eyes over a 'Mambo King.'

Back to the Volcano and flirtatious laughter over a cheeseplate and margaritas.

Back to Vesuvio, the cute bakery where we were entertained by a table of French tourists.

Back to the city streets and a thousand explorations within, where I decided I want to be with this amazing woman forever.

Even though I don't live there anymore, I still think of NYC as home...
