Wedding Trends: Trash the Dress

You've spent a lifetime fantasizing about the dress, months searching for the dress, and hours being photographed in the dress. So, now what do you do with it?

Some brides say "Trash it"!

The New York Times traces the start of the trend to a few years back, when Las Vegas wedding photographer John Michael Cooper, bored with the same old same old, started filming gorgeous brides in grungy settings. Since then blogs like Trash the Dress have been documenting the trend and hundreds of collections have sprung up on You Tube and Flickr (tag: trash the dress).
