This just in: Minted.com, a new online stationery company, is giving out free custom-designed bridal shower invites to three Knottie couples! 

 

The three couples' stories will be featured on Minted.com, where top stationery designers will create custom bridal shower invites for each chosen couple.

All three couples will receive 150 free customized bridal shower invitations (choose any of the top 10 winning designs) printed offset on high-quality paper stock, along with a $250 credit toward any purchase of customized wedding invitations or other stationery at Minted.com. 

If you're a bride, your bridesmaids or others hosting your shower can pick your customized shower invitation from among the winning designs!  (Friends and family, feel free to enter on behalf of the bride and groom.)

To enter, please send by 11pm Pacific Time on May 28, 2008 the following information to contest@minted.com:

· Bride's and groom's first and last names

· City and State where the bride and groom live

· Month and year of wedding

· Month and year of bridal shower

· Location of the bridal shower -- venue, city, and state

· E-mail address where you can be reached

· Wedding theme or colors (if you have one)

· Bridal shower theme or colors (if you have one)

· A photo of you as a couple together, and if possible a photo of the bride with the friend(s) or family member(s) throwing her shower

· Something special about the couple's relationship -- for example, how you met, what makes your relationship special, what you have in common, or what you like doing together

· Why you should be one of the 3 couples chosen -- be creative, anything goes!

The three winning couples will be announced Monday, June 2.

Well to start about me and joel w have been friends since hih school but we were always dating othe people all through school but somehow we still had classes together and after all the years of him being a complete dork in high school we finally decided to go to starbucks one night (which is my all time favorite ever) and we have been together ever since!!!! Although he used to copy my homework everyday and see how markers he could connect in class to reach me at my desk I fell in love with the little dork and I wouldnt trade him for the world bc I am pretty much the same as him in almost every way!!!! Joel is a police officer and has been since he was 19 and I am working a not so glorious jo right now but I am going to school for nursing when we get married! We are getting married on September 13th, 2008 exactly a year from when he proposed (which by the way I am sooo ready for it to be here) we are getting married in Lakeland, Florida at medulla baptist church and the recepion will be held at the laek mirror center, ther ceremony is starting at 4 o clock, our wedding theme is a vintage/modern theme and the colors are black, white and baby pink (we are incorporating polka dots into the theme as well), the colors of the bridal shower will be the same as th wedding, and one of the bridal showers will be held in august and for the other half of my family I believe they are holding it n July and they will be held one at the church we attend and the other at a family members home! My fiance, Matt, and I met one day while shopping. We both were standing in line in a store called Hollister and I stepped on his foot. It was love at first sight. Turns out that he was from Oregon, Ohio, which is very close to my hometown of Genoa, Ohio. Ever since we met we have not spent more than two days apart at a time. He is the one. He proposed after just ten months of dating. What can I say when you know, you know. Our wedding is planned for October, 2nd 2010. I can't help but start planning now! The shower will be held at my house around Sept. of 2010. We have picked the colors of sherbert orange and ivory, which will be the same for both the ceremony, reception, and showers. I was just curious.  I can't find anything on minted.com about the contest.  I entered but would like to see the winners stories.  Do you have any information on it?
