Contest: We have our flash drive winners!

Thank you so much to all of you who entered the flash drive bridesmaid contest. We received so many great stories and it's apparent from the comments that you are all very lucky to have such wonderful bridesmaids by your side.

We chose two brides from the entrants to receive flash drives for their bridesmaids.

The first one was from a bride who says her bridesmaids were one of the main  reasons that she and her fiance didn't cancel the wedding...

"I have four bridesmaids, and all of them have been there for me through thick and thin throughout all the years I've known them. However, nothing can compare to how supportive they've been for me since I got engaged. In November and December, my 12-year-old brother was diagnosed with Primary Sclerosing Cholangitis, a progressive and debilitating rare liver disease. For two weeks, the doctors thought he had Leukemia, to the point where we were relieved to find out it was only a painful, lifelong liver-disease. All four girls sat up late with me, listening to me talk and cry and grieve about the painful process my family was going through. All of them supported me completely. At one point, my fiance and I were seriously considering canceling the wedding, simply because everything seemed so overwhelming. I couldn't imagine paying so much for one day when my brother was going to be in and out of the hospital his whole life and probably endure numerous transplants. I can honestly say that these girls are the reason I didn't cancel the wedding. They supported us and convinced me to stick it out, and I honestly couldn't imagine not having them a part of my special day. My maid of honor and her mother took over all the decorations and reception planning, so I wouldn't have to worry about it. The other girls were always so laid back-- they were so happy to be involved and loved every dress they tried on! These girls are the reason we didn't elope-- without them we wouldn't be having a wedding at all this year!" -- wildblueangel47

The next one was from a bride whose sister and maid of honor has most certainly gone above and beyond her expected MOH duties...

"My Bridesmaids are not only a group made up of Sister and cousins and my best friend. But they have been everything to me. I grew up with the most amazing family who are all very close. I moved away from home when my fiancee got a job in the florida keys (i'm from Ohio), so planning my wedding has been hard on me because I am having it in Ohio. My sister has not only has not only met with all the vendors and did about 90% of the wedding planning she is also making my wedding cake, to add on top of this she is about 7monhs pregnant.I could not have done anything with out the wonderful ladies.  They are very deserving of these and it would be terrific to have a thank you for everything they have done!" -- shan2baer

Congratulations to you and your bridal parties!
