Wedding Registry: The Man Registry

Posted Monday, June 09, 2008 2:10 PM

I've heard of guys registering for PlayStations, tool sets, and camping equipment, and now there's a brand-new online wedding registry site made just for guys -- it's called TheManRegistry.com.

From barbeque grills to electronics, they've got it all. How it works: you guy can go online and register for all his favorite "guy" products like drill sets, tool chests, flat-screen TV mounts, and of course, flasks. It's simple to sign up and your guests can buy your wedding gifts off the site for you by simply searching your name just like any other traditional online registry.

In the picture above are a few products I'm pretty sure my guy would enjoy (clockwise from top left)...

Coleman 19.2V Cordless Drill
Maxam 2 Person Tent
Salton iPod Grill
Maxam 64 oz. Jumbo Flask

What about you? What "guy" items are on your registry?

I think you're confused. My FI wants a Calphalon set.

Oh, also a PS3. That's what department stores are for.

Yeah, because girls only like dishes and boys only like tools.  LAME.

rubber_chicken, you clearly don't get the site. It's trying to get men more involved in the wedding process..what's so wrong with that?  Have you browsed their products? They have gifts for all types of men, not just the macho tool-loving ones?
