Wedding Attire: Formal to Funky

Mixing traditional ceremonies with modern receptions is the
wedding code du jour -- and that includes the bride’s attire. While some women
love the idea of changing into a second less formal dress for their reception,
to me, that’s a wedding no, no. Why only wear your gorgeous gown for an hour? I
do, however, love the idea of modernizing your look post-ceremony.

Our Real
Wedding bride, Charlize Lin from Dana Point, CA wore a classic vintage-inspired
lace-trimmed mantilla veil while exchanging vows and switched to a funky
tulle-trimmed cocktail hat for the reception.
So, Knotties…did you change your look from ceremony to
reception? If so, tell us how.
Look for Charlize Lin’s and William Hung’s wedding in the
Spring/Summer 09 issue of Southern California.
