Reception Ideas: Luxury Lounges

Gone are the days of the traditional reception setup. More and more couples are taking their post-ceremony party to a whole new level with creative food, decor, and, most importantly, seating. Kristy and Mike went above and beyond for their cocktail style event in Ann Arbor, Michigan.     

Guests were able to choose their own seats at banquet tables after gathering delicious entrees from the buffet. Glass centerpieces filled with orange orchids and topped off with cream lampshades decorated the simple cream table cloths surrounded by mahogany chiavari chairs. After dinner, guests taking a break from the dance floor gathered in the draped off "club" areas on white leather lounges featuring lush pillows, grass fans and cocktail tables for drinks.
