Wedding Attire: Groomsmen in Sneakers

We've seen a lot of brides opt for untraditional wedding attire lately, and groomsmen are getting in on the act too.

 

If it matches the vibe of the wedding, I'm a fan of the suit-and-sneakers look. Cheryl and David decked out their groomsmen in black suits and black-and-white Converse shoes for their wedding in the Bahamas, while Courtney and Charlie's groomsmen sported chocolate-brown and robin's egg blue Nikes to match the color palette of their wedding in Minnesota. What do you think: Love or hate the idea of sneakers on groomsmen? Are you including any untraditional elements in your bridal party attire?

We are doing all black vans tennis shoes with our formal wedding, we bought all the shoes as gifts for the groomsmen & ring bearers.  My groom wanted to be comfortable on the big day and having a formal wedding I was really nervous about it but we brought the shoes down and had one of them try it on with the tuxes and they looked great!  The groomsmen I know will love it!
