Does your soon-to be-hubby break out in a cold sweat at the first sight of a suit or tuxedo? Don’t force him to wear something he’ll be uncomfortable in. As Knot Miles told us last week, mixing suits and sneakers is a huge wedding trend, but now grooms and groomsmen are taking it a step further by ditching the formalwear all together to create a casual chic look.

Barton wore dark brown linen pants and a burnt orange cashmere sweater layered over a brown-button down at his outdoor wedding in Northport, Michigan. The bride was equally as elegant in a custom-made red silk gown. Stay tuned for more of Chandra and Barton’s wedding in the Spring/Summer 09 Michigan issue. (Photo: Susan Jackson Photography)
The groomsmen at Megann and Gus’ Minneapolis wedding wore black pants and matching sweater vests paired with a white shirt (sleeves rolled up) and green ties in varying shades. Want more details? What do you think…would you let your groom or groomsmen go casual for your wedding?
